Great food. I love their lunch combos, the restaurant is busy and I typically order to go. My go to lunch item is the Sashimi and Beef Teriyaki lunch special. If you are nearby and local it's a must try Japanese restaurant. It's now one of my favorite restaurants.
Recently caught fire but now reopen. This place is hands down the best teriyaki beef and chicken combo around large plates real steak good cuts of chicken house salad and lots of choices for combos from sashimi sushi. And a big plus Izakaya style food dining. Meaning this place packs a strong menu of many traditional Japanese dishes with iconic plates and just really good food. Real rib eye steak teriyaki cut thick and cooked to order.
came on a saturday evening and waited about 20 minutes to be sat. waiting area is outside in the parking lot.
had the tempura plate & the chicken katsu curry. both were great. the chicken has the right crunch to it and is definitely something i would come back for!
server was friendly and attentive. the ambiance of the restaurant is quite lively and a fun spot to go with friends.
Went back again after they reopened post fire. Got the terriyaki chicken , when I had cutlet last time. Also quite good, also a mountain of chicken. Still great.
They reopened the dinner on 10/4/2023 after fire damage from Massage place.

This restaurant is located in a small strip off of Western in Gardena. it was a busy night when we got there. We waited may 30 minutes. Staff was awesome and friendly. I love the food here. i always have the combination with their teriyaki beef. so good.. i was so excited they reopened 2 weeks ago..

This is my go to spot for old school Japanese food. I don't think you will be unhappy with the food.
The place is small and not fancy or modern. If your looking for a fancy touristy type of restaurant this is not the place.
Not to many old school hole in the wall spots like this anymore.
I believe they maybe affiliated with the coffee shop at Gardena bowl but I am not sure.
The sashimi is better quality then the everyday Japanese spots around nowadays.
But then again seems like most of the Japanese restaurants are Korean run now days.
They have be reopened for 13 days after being closed due to a fire.
We really missed coming here. Same great food with huge portions.
